Most people will agree if we say that the Coupé (or FHC) version of the E-Type Series 1 is one of the most beautiful automotive designs ever made. It is unbelievable that the design of this iconic car was conceived in two weeks, and that sir William Lyons was not very sure that it would appeal to the typical Jaguar customer. Now we are 50 years later, and this car is exposed in several important museums as a piece of art.

This example is finished in the most fantastic colour combination of cream with a dark red leather interior. It must be said that it looks absolutely stunning. The interior is still the original one, and has got that beautifully patinated look and feel, as so many classic car enthousiasts like their cars these days. The previous owner of this lovely E-Type had the car for almost 20 years, and kept all invoices in quite a big file. It tells us that this car is perfectly maintained over the years, and more importantly has been used on almost weekly basis. This is a classic car which was driven by its owner on each possible occasion, and kept in perfect condition to keep it reliable all the time. This is not the shrinking violet that has been stored in a garage just to look at it, but a proper drivers car !

So if a nice and well driving E-type is something you fancy, we can only advise to book a fascinating test drive with this very nice Jaguar : you won't be disappointed.
