With a total production of 638 examples, the Jaguar XK150 S is a very sought after classic car. In 1958, this was the absolute top version of the XK-series, with straight-port cilinderhead and triple SU carburettors. With these engine tweaks, power output raised to 250 bhp. The XK150 S was able to reach 220 km/u, and could accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 7,7 seconds. This was proper supercar performance in 1958, for half the price of a comparable DB4 or Ferrari.

This particular XK150 S OTS (Open Two Seater) is a real matching nrs car, originally supplied by Jaguar US in 1958 to a customer in New York. In 1997, the car was imported from Texas by a German Jaguar specialist, and decently restored for himself, respecting the originality of the car. The chassis was in very good condition when imported, and never welded since new. This is very rare for a car from 53 years old. Since its restoration, the car is kept in beautiful condition, and well maintained. It does have Dayton Competition wheels (72-spoke) with wider 215/65 Pirelli tyres, which improve roadholding in a big way. The radio is a correct period one. Of course, this XK150 S comes with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate which confirms that it is 100% matching nrs.

These cars are very popular among Jaguar collectors, and are increasing in value every year. This example is very competitively priced, and because of its quality and originality rather difficult to find.
