As a successor of the famous Austin-Healey 100/4, the six cilinder 100/6 came on the market in 1956. The BN4 (Body Number 4) was in the beginning the only available version, with the 2 small seats in the rear. From 1958 there was also a BN6 version, which was a 2-seater version.

The 100/6 BN4 was quite a succesful rally car, and even if you drive this car nowadays it still feels nimble and quick. The sound of the six cilinder adds some drama to the driving experience, and the steering is light and responsive. The car left the factory with the desirable overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear, and this still works as it should.

This particular car was originally delivered in Germany in 1957, and is still a full matching nrs car. It had a nut-and-bolt restoration from 2001 till 2004, and only did 3000 miles since. This restoration is completely documented with a photographic history. The car is painted and trimmed in the same colours as it left the factory in 1957, and mechanically it still is very identical to the period specification. Hood and tonneau cover are in blue and in very good condition as well. This Austin-Healey has chromed wire wheels with almost new Vredestein Classic tyres, and also comes with a chromed luggage rack. This is one of the finest examples on the market, and ready to enjoy by its next owner. A lovely british roadster in pristine condition !
