We found this RHD E-Type in a coachhouse from a Belgian castle, still on its british numberplates and in a surprisingly sound condition. It is believed that this car has been stored for 18 years. After collection, we had the car completely inspected and replaced the aged parts, and installed a new clutch. It runs now incredibly smooth, and we believe that the engine was completely overhauled just before storage. It looks very clean, and there is still a label of "Swallow Engineering" on the cam covers.

This matching nrs car drives very well and brisk, and brakes perfectly. The interior is very original, and has a lovely patina. Paintwork is not perfect, as there are some scratches and small bubbles, but nothing seriously worrying. The car has an original Webasto sunroof, which is a nice extra. This E-Type is a very sound car, which can be driven as it is, or a good base for a concours restoration.
