The Sunbeam Tiger was developed by the Rootes Group and Carroll Shelby as a budget alternative for the AC Cobra. By changing the engine from the Alpine by the Ford small block V8 260Ci, they created quite a spectacular sports car. Most of the Tiger went to the USA, but it remained quite rare as only 6495 units were produced.

These days, Tigers are even rarer. The car we offer for sale is one of the original Tigers (chassisnr B9472371), and not an Alpine upgraded to Tiger specification. Completely restored in 2006, and only 1600 km done since. It comes with the desirable metal hardtop, and has 15" Minilite wheels. Ready to go and to enjoy the fantastic V8 sound in this lovely roadster. The article in the latest Classic Car Magazine says it all : a very underrated sportscar which time will come soon ! This superb Tiger is now available for viewing in our showroom, and ready for an exciting test drive.
