This has to be the ultimate Jaguar Mk2. This car is fully restored in 2008 to the ultimate specification. The then owner wanted a Mk2 that looked like it left the factory, but with enough
power and necessary comfort enhancements to use it as a daily driver. For that reason, this car is equiped with a 4.2 litre Jaguar straight six from the MkX, with plenty of torque. Ths engine has an improved cooling system, and electronic ignition sytem. The gearbox is a modern 5-speed manual box. For better roadholding and driving comfort, it has now an independant rear suspension.

Inside, the car has a hidden airconditioning system and concealed hifi installation with a 6CD player in the boot. More comfort items are the rack and pinion power steering and reclining front seats. Fitted with 6x15" colour coded competition wire wheels and brand new 205/70VR15 tyres. The bodywork is finished with Coombs style rear wheelarches and a louvred bonnet.

We purchased the car from JD Classics, one of the leading Jaguar specialists in the world, and a guarantee for top quality. If you are looking for a great looking Mk2, which can be used on a daily basis, then this is the one. This car needs to be seen and driven to appreciate its condition. Not the cheapest on the market, but worth every penny ! Building a similar car will cost at least 100.000 EUR, and that does not even include a donor car...
