When Porsche developed the 991 Targa, they used the original seventies Targa as an inspiration. The stainless steel roll bar in combination with removable roof panel gives this car such a distinctive look which has never been copied on any other sportscar. It is a typically Porsche design feature now.

This example was delivered new in the beginning of 1970 in Holland, so it is a European specification example. Restored in the second half of the eighties, it still remains in fantastic condition. This quality restoration is completely documented with many photographs. This 911 looks stunning, and the colour combination of white with the black "Pepita" interior works very well. During the restoration the then owner decided to put a 5-speed gearbox type 915 in the car, which came from a later model 911, and this makes the car such a great driving machine.

An early 911 Targa is a perfect starter classic. A car which offers great looks and lots of driving pleasure. A reliable sportscar which is incredibly user friendly. No wonder that these cars are among the most popular choices these days. Book a testdrive today, as such a good example as this one will be difficult to find at the same price level.
