Some people say that this is the last of the real Aston Martins, and that is actually quite right. It is definitely the last handbuilt car made in Newport Pagnell, and a Vanquish has still the same brutal appearance and manners as the previous V8 Vantage and V550 Vantage cars. The design of this car is still breathtaking, despite the fact that the Vanquish is now almost 15 years old. It is certainly the design masterpiece of Ian Callum, and probably one the most beautiful sportscars ever made. Being the star in a couple of James Bond movies even adds more appeal to this iconic sportscar.

The example we have for sale is delivered new in Germany in December 2002. The first owner ordered the car in a most beautiful colour combination of Bowland Black with fantastic interior finished in Dark Tan / Parchment. This interior is inspired by the original Vanquish prototype called "Project Vantage", and is almost identical. After a couple of years in German ownership, the Vanquish was sold in 2005 to a Japanese collector, with a mileage of 12.000 km. He had the car meticulously maintained by the Japanese Aston Martin importer, which is completely documented. The Vanquish has now 24.500 km on the clocks, and looks like it left the Newport Pagnell factory a couple of months ago. Of course, this car is absolutely accident-free, and just serviced by an Aston Martin specialist. Ready to go to a new proud owner, and easily to register in every EU country as it comes with a UK V5 and European Certificate of Conformity.

The Vanquish is the modern era DB5, with only just over 1300 examples ever built. It is now the time to buy the best example you can find, as these cars will only go up in value. In fact, these Aston Martins are at the moment real bargains, as it is a very rare, beautiful, handbuilt and extremely powerful thoroughbred. A well sorted Vanquish is a pleasure to drive, and probably one of the wisest buys and best future investments in the actual classic car market.
