The purest of all Austin-Healeys is the 100/4. It has a powerful 2,6 Litre 4-cilinder, that offers plenty of torque and a fantastic soundtrack. As it is eligible for a lot of historic events, these cars are quite sought-after and due to their rarity a rather sound investment.

This particular car was restored ten years ago, and is still in excellent condition. During the restoration, the owner decided to install the much better 4-speed gearbox with electrical overdrive from the later 100/4 BN2. More items from the BN2 were fitted at the same time : steering column, brakes and axles. For better performance, the engine has been upgraded to 100M specification, with a pair of H6 SU carburetors and Le Mans inlet manifolds and airbox. The car comes with two hoods : one in vinyl, and one brand new (still in the box) in blue mohair. The sidescreens are immaculate, and so is the matching tonneau cover. The last owner has just fitted four new Vredestein Classic tyres on the 72-spoke competitions style wire wheels, and all 4 shock absorbers are recently renewed as well.

The general condition of this car is fantastic, and it drives as well as it looks. It is ready for the summer, and waiting for a good new home. Now available in our showroom for viewing and testing.
