A good example of the desirable Jaguar E-type Series 1 3,8 Litre is increasingly difficult to find. This model is very sought after, as it is the purest design of all E-Types, with the aluminium dashboard panels and bucket seats.

We have now a completely restored example on offer. A full matching nrs car, finished in its original colour combination of Opalescent Silver Blue with Blue hide interior. Originally delivered to a customer in New York, it came back to Europe in 2010. The car was then completely stripped and restored to a very high standard in Belgium by a classic Jaguar specialist. This restoration is documented with hundreds of photographs. During this restoration, this E-Type received some interesting upgrades to make it an even better driving car : large aluminium cooler with Kenlowe electrical fan, fitting of an alternator, poly bushes in front and rear suspension, electronical ignition, ... Engine is completely rebuilt, and ready for use of leadfree petrol. Crankshaft and flywheel are balanced, and carburettors are rebuilt as well. In fact, almost everything is new on this car, and that is exactly what you experience when driving this magnificent E-type.

The discerned Jaguar enthusiast who is looking for the ultimate E-Type will appreciate the quality of this car. It is not cheap, but worth every penny. Restoring a project car to this standard will probably cost more. If you want a perfect Series 1 3,8 litre OTS, ready to enjoy, then look no furter : this is the car you need.
